Steiner Ranch Austin Texas
Steiner Ranch is one of Austin's newest and largest communities. Located just south of the intersection of RR 620 and FM 2222 on the west side of the city, it's approximately 30 minutes from either downtown Austin or Austin Bergstrom Airport.
Steiner is probably Austin's premiere Master-Planned community and is especially popular with folks moving to Austin from out of the area and families with school age children. It's schools are run by the Leander School District, with three Elementary and one Middle School actually located within the subdivision. All four are rated "Exemplary", the highest possible designation!
Although not inexpensive, homes and condos within Steiner have a fairly broad spectrum of prices, with single family homes ranging from the low $200's to over $3 million.
For shopping and services, there's an excellent HEB supermarket just a mile away. For more extensive shopping you're less than 10 miles away from the new upscale Galleria Mall to the south or the recently enlarged and renovated Lakeline Mall to the north.
